In 1972 Antonio Guidotti realizes the first handicraft laboratory in Giulianova, in the province of Teramo. So it is born LAVAAL, and thanks to dream, tenacity and engagement of Abruzzo’s inhabitants, it grows in size and work force, becoming today’s great business reality. With some
years, the attention at the market lets an aimed study of its requirements, such to allow, in 1979, the production of the first Italian cremone bolt, with 90 degree position return.
Lavaal becomes, therefore, the first company in Italy to introduce the inner mechanisms of “cariglioni” and cremone bolts, with fused zamak material, as a replacement for the classics steel mechanisms. The following year, in 1980, Lavaal faces up to an other challenge, beginning the production of the first accessories for European Chamber. The success is such that Lavaal is obliged to enlarge its own structure and to move it to Colleranesco, always in the province of Teramo.

In 1983 there are two important stages for Lavaal: for the first time in its business history, it takes part in SAIE (International Building Exhibition) in Bologna, introducing itself to local and foreign market.
Moreover, in the same year, there is the installation of the first powder paint system.
It is 1985: Lavaal realizes the first patent of tilt-and-turn mechanism.
It also becomes the first Italian company to produce and distribute tilt-and-turn windows for European Chamber, equipped with a special external rod able to eliminate the drilling workings.
The evolution is continuous and always aimed; in fact, just in the following year, in 1986, there is the installation of the first die-casting system.
1989: Lavaal parla spagnolo
In order to satisfy the growing requests of customers, in particular European, in 1989 it is born IBERIAN LAVAAL.
In Zaragoza city, Spain, Lavaal established itself in strong and determinant way, as well as today it can be defined a great reality, able to distribute accessories not only in Iberian market, but also in Portuguese and South American ones, using a new automated warehouse, installed in the newest 7000 sq plant.

Lavaal takes its place among the best companies of its field thanks to maximum attention to requirements of market, searches and study of aimed and personalized solutions, continuous modernization and training of its specialized and qualified staff.
In 2003 Lavaal moves into the new and modern factory in Mosciano S. Angelo, always in the same and near province of Teramo, where it has enlarged and reorganized some of the most important departments such as those of pressure die-casting, stamping plastics, installations and assemblies,
with the innovative introduction of completely automatic lines for the assembly of cremone bolts, hinges and tilt-and-turn windows.
It has been planned and realized also a modern system of pre-treatment (in the absence of chromium) and painting, with a productive power of 1.200.000 pc every month.

In 2006,  thanks to Franco e Filippo Guidotti who has ably taken over and continued the splendid reality thought by their father, Lavaal Group reach 93 employees, achieving the sales proceeds of € 20.000.000, 00.
